1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Minte, owner of this website and the services associated with minte.app. You can contact us at hola@minte.app for any privacy, security, or rights-related question. Before publishing this page as a final legal notice, the identifying details of the entity should be completed where applicable, including legal name, tax ID, registered address, and registry details.
2. What data we may process
We may process data you provide when contacting us, requesting a demo, contracting a service, or using the platform: name, company, role, email, phone number, messages, commercial preferences, and data needed to manage the relationship. If your company uses Minte, we may also process user accounts, permissions, product activity, documents, conversations, technical metadata, and information from integrations connected by the customer.
3. Why we use the data
We use data to answer requests, prepare demos, provide support, create and manage accounts, operate the platform, maintain security, improve the service, send Minte-related communications where there is a lawful basis, and comply with legal obligations. In enterprise use of the platform, Minte normally acts as a processor for the data each customer adds to its agents, documents, or integrations.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process data based on your consent when you submit forms or accept non-essential communications, on pre-contractual or contractual measures when you request a demo or use our services, on compliance with legal obligations where applicable, and on our legitimate interest in maintaining security, preventing abuse, improving the platform, and managing B2B relationships proportionately.
5. Providers and subprocessors
To provide the service we use infrastructure, hosting, database, email, analytics, observability, AI model, storage, search, document-processing, and integration providers. These providers act under appropriate agreements and only access the data needed to provide their services. The list of subprocessors may vary depending on each customer configuration and may be provided on request or as a contractual annex.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may be located outside the European Economic Area or provide services from international regions. When this happens, we apply appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, provider reviews, and, where possible, European region configuration or specific deployments for customers with data residency requirements.
7. Data retention
We keep data for as long as needed to answer your request, maintain the commercial or contractual relationship, provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and address potential liabilities. Data added by customers to the platform is retained according to the service configuration, the applicable contract, and customer instructions. When data is no longer needed, it is reasonably deleted or anonymized.
8. Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file that a website can store in your browser to remember browsing information. At Minte we also use similar technologies, such as localStorage, to store preferences on your device without requiring an account.
The following table summarizes the technologies we have identified in Minte’s public website code and what they are used for:
| Technology | Type | Purpose | Provider | Control |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Technical / preference cookie | Remember the selected language so the website can be shown in English or Spanish. | Minte / Next.js | You can change the language on the website or delete the cookie from your browser. |
| minte_cookie_consent | Local preference storage | Remember whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice so it is not shown on every visit. | Minte | You can delete the site’s local storage from your browser settings. |
| next-themes | Local preference storage | Remember the visual theme preference when a user switches between light and dark mode. | Minte / next-themes | You can change the theme from the interface or delete the preference from your browser. |
| Vercel Analytics | Usage analytics | Measure visits, performance, and aggregate website usage to improve the experience. | Vercel | You can limit it by rejecting non-essential technologies where applicable and using browser privacy controls. |
| PostHog | Product analytics | Record navigation and interaction events, such as visits, CTAs, article reads, or demo forms. The code configures profiles as identified_only. | PostHog, when a public key is configured | You can block it with browser controls, privacy extensions, or consent settings where available. |
9. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction of processing, and portability of your data by writing to hola@minte.app. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
10. Security and confidentiality
Minte applies technical and organizational measures designed to protect information: access controls, customer separation, permissions, encryption where applicable, activity logs, provider reviews, and secure development practices. No system is infallible, but we design the platform to reduce risk and preserve the confidentiality of the business data entrusted to us.
